20 february 2007 ~ Actors? Writers?

So, none of us are trained actors...none of us are trained writers...sounds like a receipe for success!

We have decided to use ourselves as actors...much to the resistance of some of us :) We are also using a friend who has some experience on stage, Anny Knubben. But she is in Germany, so those logistics should be interesting!

As far as writing goes, the story is obviously being developed by all of us. We have decided to not have ANY dialogue as poor acting will kill our short on the spot. We are thinking of having a simple/abstract voice over. So our script will be a script of actions/editorial/framing and directional cues.

We are also looking for writing help for the voice over...anyone, anyone?? Our direction for that will reflect spoken work poetry, non-rhyming, similar to that of Charles Bukowski (thanks carlos!). It will be a very interesting project for Jeremy, our sound guru, as he will be balancing sound, music, voice over and the absence of sound all together.
